grAceful AM has been present throughout the 79th International Institute of Welding Annual Assembly 2026 in Salzburg!
Over the past few days, visitors had the opportunity to discover the project at the booth and learn more about its work on the skills needed for Additive Manufacturing inspection.
This morning, the project also contributed to the IIW2026 Symposium through the presentation:
“Bridging Skills Gaps in Industry 5.0: AI-Supported Competency Development for Inspection and Certification in Energy-Intensive Industries and Additive Manufacturing”.
The session highlighted the importance of preparing inspection professionals for increasingly digital and AI-supported manufacturing environments, while keeping human expertise at the centre.
